Oh The Places We've Been and Where We're Going

Before we begin this journey together, I think it's important to get a quick look at some of the places we've already been and how we are narrowing down the places we go next.
We started off by taking two large push pin boards out of storage and cutting a map of the world in half. North America and South America would be tacked down on one board while Europe, Asia, and Australia would be on the other. From there I decided to create a key for my colored pushpins:
PINK - Haley's Picks
YELLOW - Alice's Picks
BLUE - Places We've Been
GREEN - Places We're Going
As you may have figured out from our website so far, the goal for this year (2025) is travel to 25 places. And so my mom and I were each given 25 push pins so that we could pin places in the map of where we wanted to go. The places which ended up having both a pink and yellow pin would ultimately be then replaced by a green push pin, thus giving it sort of the metaphoric "green light" for us to go ahead.
Now, I don't want to spoil this entire blog by telling you all of the places that received the green light, I'll save that for a little bit later, but instead I can tell you all of the places we have already been. These places will not be revisited in 2025, buy if you are interested in learning more about our experience at any of these locations let us know if the comments down below and I will try to make a detailed post about them!
